From the very first listen, the track stands out with its psychedelic undertones, calling to mind the Beatles’ intricate, experimental sounds but with a distinctly contemporary twist.

You can hear echoes of Beck’s inventive spirit here too, particularly in the seamless fusion of genres that feels nostalgic and fresh.

The rhythm is undeniably catchy, with a playful yet infectious groove that invites listeners to hit repeat. Hoover’s approach to rock has a sharp edge to it—it’s energetic but not frantic, balancing complexity with an ear for accessibility.

The melodies are memorable, and the way the song builds offers a sense of forward movement, almost like you’re being swept into a new world of sound with each passing note.

The song’s charm lies in its ability to feel familiar while offering something new, something that immediately stands out in today’s musical landscape.

What makes All Over Again even more engaging is Hoover’s performance: raw, sincere, and straight to the point. It’s clear he’s not trying to hide behind layers of production, but rather letting the music speak for itself.

The confidence and energy in his delivery make this track an exciting listen, one that feels very much alive and in the moment.

Emerging from Atlanta’s vibrant club scene, Duane Hoover honed his craft at the Atlanta College of Art and on local radio before making the leap to New York City. After forming and fronting a band in Atlanta, he set his sights on New York, where he built a new group and became a fixture in the city’s legendary venues, including CBGB, Downtown Beirut, and Spiral.

Beyond music, Hoover brought his creative vision to MTV, where he was hired to redesign The Week in Rock and MTV Top 20 Countdown. His artistry also extends to the visual world, with his pop art silkscreens exhibited in SoHo galleries.

His latest album releases trace back to Tin Pan Alley Studio at 1 East 28th Street, where his band rehearsed and refined their sound. What began in Atlanta with a Roxy Music influence evolved into a glam rock fusion, drawing from the energy of T. Rex, David Bowie, Roxy Music, and Lou Reed—while also spanning the raw edge of Iggy Pop and the poetic storytelling of Bob Dylan.
