AngelsDome A Virtual Sanctuary to Remember Loved Ones

A gentle, curated online refuge where memory, reflection, and music meet. AngelsDome has officially launched, offering a serene online environment where people can create and place a personalized “angel” in honor of someone they’ve lost.

AngelsDome A Virtual Sanctuary to Remember Loved Ones

Born from personal grief and shaped into a collective act of remembrance, AngelsDome invites visitors into a quiet, immersive space designed for reflection, dignity, and peace.

AngelsDome began after I lost my sister and later my mother,” says founder Chris Mariotti. “I wanted a place to preserve their memory, and eventually I realized others could benefit from the same safe, peaceful space. It’s about creating a little universe of remembrance where every life has meaning.”

Unlike social platforms or open forums, AngelsDome is built as a curated sanctuary. Each angel — a tribute that may include a photo and short text — is placed in a vast, navigable panorama. Visitors can explore these realms at their own pace. Pausing to read the stories of people who once meant everything to someone.

To deepen the experience, AngelsDome also features a built-in music player with calming, serene compositions, turning each visit into a meditative journey. The combination of imagery, story, and music transforms the site into a serene space for gentle contemplation.

Every realm in AngelsDome has space for 55 angels — a conscious decision to prevent overcrowding and preserve intimacy. When one realm fills, the system creates another, and then another, and so on. Each new angel contributes to the growth of an infinite, navigable universe. That extends itself with the memories entrusted to it.

In this way, the space is paradoxical: although it honors the departed, it is alive, constantly expanding as people continue to share the lives and legacies of those they loved. Visitors can wander freely through these realms, discovering stories and losing themselves in an endless universe of remembrance.

AngelsDome requires a $10 placement fee to add an angel. This choice, though modest, serves two important purposes:

  1. Integrity of the space: Even a small fee filters out prank or malicious submissions, ensuring AngelsDome remains a respectful community.
  2. Sustainability: Fees support hosting, moderation, and the absence of intrusive advertising or data exploitation.

We considered free donations, but unfortunately, that opens the door to abuse,” says Mariotti. “The $10 fee is about protecting sincerity and keeping the site safe and meaningful.” Every submission is reviewed by the AngelsDome team. Entries that are abusive, mocking, or clearly insincere are removed. The platform is inclusive and non-denominational, welcoming secular and faith-based tributes. AngelsDome does not sell personal data and has no advertising.

In a world where daily life moves quickly, AngelsDome offers a parallel space — a digital sanctuary of peace, grace, and story. With its music, structured realms, and ever-expanding design, AngelsDome becomes a memorial and a living creation, shaped by the memories people choose to preserve.
