Better You Than Me is HWDU’s Ep

Good Day Noir Family,

Better You Than Me is HWDU’s Ep

The powerful and intense sound of this band hits you straight like a punch in the face.

The things that struck me most are the melodic lines and the vocal timbre of the singer. An absolutely out-of-the-ordinary voice that manages to immediately distinguish the sound of this band.

You can fell that HWDU are enjoying themselves while playing. Surely we are faced with great musicians as the rhythmic and harmonic variations are of the highest quality.

These guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this musical chemistry.

Better You Than Me is a coherent Ep, all the songs are solid and some tunes reminded me of Weezer.

A band with a clear artistic vision that does not take itself seriously but offers very interesting music.

Go and listen to them, it is worth it!

Better You Than Me is HWDU’s Ep Out Now! Here is the single Machine included in the Ep.

Catchy and Energetic!

HWDU (sounds like Hoodoo), is an independent 4-piece heavy rock band from sunny Swansea, South Wales. They play a probably not so unique blend of heavy rock, with some stoner grooves while keeping some punk sensibilities while not being afraid to make fun of themselves. A genre that they affectionately labelled: Twp Rock.

The band are:
Matt Williams (Suns Of Thunder, Sigiriya) – Guitars and vocals, Jonny Randell (Estuary Blacks) – Guitar and other vocals, Owen Foote – Drums and some more vocals, Gavin Smith – Just bass.
