Eyes Open is One Flew Over’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
There’s a quiet intensity that defines “Eyes Open,” the new single by Irish duo One Flew Over, formed by Irene Ní Chuinn and Martin Quinn.

Eyes Open is One Flew Over’s Single Out Now

The song begins with a mysterious, nocturnal tone that draws you into its world.

Subtle textures of guitar and atmospheric production prepare the stage before Ní Chuinn’s voice enters—rich, confident, and deeply emotive. Her delivery carries control and fire, grounding the song in sincerity while allowing its emotional depth to unfold naturally.

As the track progresses, strings glide in, adding a refined elegance that enhances its cinematic feel. The chorus bursts into life with remarkable power—intense, rhythmic, and uplifting. It’s the kind of dynamic shift that sends a chill down your spine. Then, the music pulls back again, creating a beautiful tension between stillness and motion. These contrasts give “Eyes Open” an incredible sense of balance and emotional architecture.

Production-wise, Martin Quinn’s work is immaculate. Every layer feels carefully selected: the strings, the subtle percussion, the reverb on the vocals—all crafted with precision. The song flows, yet it’s built on meticulous detail. There’s no excess, only what serves the emotion of the track. It’s clear that this duo doesn’t just make music; they design experiences that stay with the listener.

“Eyes Open” feels nostalgic and intense. It evokes late-night reflection but also surges with energy. The chorus doesn’t just sound big—it feels earned. That’s what makes it special. One Flew Over proves that emotion and production can coexist in perfect harmony when guided by vision and restraint.
