On May 8th Berlin-based glam-punkers, Fantuzzi, released their debut EP Snakes via Pity Party Records. Alongside the EP they released the video for the title track, ‘Snakes’.

Now, just under a month later, on June 6th, the band are putting out the video for the second single – the dark disco banger, ‘Gala’.
This retro club-hit has a relentless four-to-the-floor beat, catchy surf guitars, seductive vocals and steady, phat keys.
The accompanying video matches the dark, rhythmic and irresistible atmosphere of the song with its sensual, disembodied red and pink lips floating in a world of flashing lights that bring to mind a new take on a 70s disco as seen through a vaseline-smudged lens.
The rhythm of the clip is perfectly timed with the track which builds into a climax of beats and vocals mirrored by the increase of intensity of the flashing lights and number of juicy lips that start to take over the screen.

Fantuzzi is a glam/garage/psych-pop musical tour-de-force blending punk rock energy with hypnotic electronic undertones and a fierce interplay of male and female vocals. Drawing comparisons to La Femme, Fat White Family, Black Lips, and PJ Harvey, their sound is as catchy as it is chaotic, and always unmistakably their own.
Formed in Berlin by lovers and longtime collaborators Juliette Wallace (Kamoos, Morphine Ridges, Camera) and Rhys Marshall (Sour Janes, Sonny & the Dog), Fantuzzi took shape when powerhouse rhythm section Tom Chester and Sofia Albanese joined them. The band’s live shows are a kinetic burst of performative glamour, earning them a reputation across Berlin’s underground and beyond.
