Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Happy Science. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their music.
The sound proposed by this band immediately struck me for its originality.
For some reason, in their compositional style, I heard some nuances of Rage Against The Machine, in a softer form but for sure this music exudes strange and powerful energy.
I really liked the melodic line of the voice, irreverent in typical English style.
The chord progression is very well thought out, never banal and obvious, and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
It feels like Happy Science spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this enviable sonic chemistry.
A band to keep under the radar because they offer different and original music and are not afraid to venture on musical paths never walked before.
