Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Steven Reid Williams in the past but this eclectic artist is out with a new album and I want to share my thoughts about it.
I liked the atmosphere created by this artist’s music right away.
You immediately realize that you are in front of an artist of great experience as his music is mature and refined.
The vocal timbre is fabulous and a warm and deep voice that manages to make you believe the words of the lyrics.
Hearts And Stones is a fantastic work, all the songs on this album are solid and there is a logical thread that binds all these beautiful pieces.
Blues and Soul exude from the melodies and from the guitars that venture into thrilling solos that literally get you excited.
I honestly found no flaws both in terms of production and interpretation. Steven Reid Williams is a fantastic artist that I recommend to everyone.
Hearts And Stones is Steven Reid Williams’ Album Out Now!
Mature and Passionate!
Steven Reid Williams invited some of the best musicians in the UK (including Ian Matthews, drummer for Kasabian) to record his new album, Hearts and Stones. Originally intended to be recorded live and as a personal indulgence, the album was recorded across a two-day residential session at Modern World Studios, Tetbury, just three days before Christmas 2020. Over 48 hours, the musicians lived together, playing pool when not in session. Steven attributes that spirit, energy, friendship, and spontaneity to what makes Hearts and Stones so unique.
