Husfikbur is Sehore’s Album Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
Sehore’s Husfikbur is not the kind of album that fits neatly into a box. Known for a restless creativity and the ability to merge styles into something personal, the artist delivers a collection of songs that feel alive, daring, and deeply imaginative.

Each track carries its own pulse, yet together they form a body of work that feels like a single adventurous journey.

The opener, Bossa velha, hooks you with a surprising mix of rock textures and traditional rhythms. There’s a near-ska movement in the groove, playful and infectious, yet the melody hides a nostalgic undercurrent. The contrast between energy and longing keeps the listener on edge, inviting repeated listens.

Locura follows with a tense and hypnotic structure. Its dissonant touches make the rhythm feel unstable, almost like it could collapse at any moment, which only heightens the intrigue. Then comes Poquito a poco, arguably one of the most ethereal moments of the record. Built around a delicate arpeggio, the track unfolds slowly, with vocals adding warmth and a sense of suspended time. It is a piece that encourages imagination, taking the mind somewhere far beyond the ordinary.

The experimental core of the album shines brightest in Tientos, tangos y siguiriya funk. It begins with a measured cadence before breaking into sudden accelerations, mixing rock, ethnic influences, and funk in unpredictable ways. Few tracks capture artistic risk with such freedom. By contrast, Mentiras brings a retro-leaning beat reminiscent of the 80s, with a danceable drive and guitars that shift from clean arpeggios to more distorted bursts.

Another standout is Serendipia, built on a chord progression that recalls elements of U2, especially in the guitar work that occasionally echoes The Edge. There is a soaring quality here, balancing atmosphere with clarity. The closer Lagrimita lands softly, with an arpeggio falling like autumn rain. It has a nostalgic weight, similar to the emotional pull of Mama I’m Coming Home. It is a moving end to an album defined by variety and vision.

Husfikbur confirms Sehore as an artist willing to take risks, blend influences, and create something that feels timeless and immediate.

Visionary!

The album’s title evokes the glass of a shop window—one in which someone might see their reflection, and through which an ocean of scattered memories turned into music becomes visible. These are lost stories from any life, and at the same time, a pillow to rest on. If sadness overtakes you in that mirror, a little tear should be shed to slowly stop crying. In the end, these are the songs that, despite being searched for, never appeared.
