The lead vocal arrives with a distinctive timbre — theatrical, expressive, and tinged with something epic and slightly vintage. There’s a touch of Serj Tankian’s dramatic flair in the edges, but the identity remains absolutely their own.
“Tethered” shifts into rhythmic experimentation. A syncopated pulse and intricate melodic shapes collide in a way that feels both chaotic and controlled. Then comes “Into The Ether,” perhaps the album’s standout. The riff cuts with fierce authority, and the chorus carries a nostalgic and dystopian edge that lingers long after the song ends.
