The Poe Parade
Good Day Noir Family,
we are proud to announce that our new song and video ” The Poe Parade” is out. This song is dedicated to Edgar Allan Poe and the lyrics are a collage of 24 titles of Edgar Allan Poe‘s works.
The video is interpreted by Robert Bang as Edgar Allan Poe and we also added clips of old silent movies. We wanted to recreate Poe’s atmospheres and we think we achieved that result.
Since this song is a celebration of Edgar Allan Poe, the master of horror and suspense, we decided to start a project thepoeparade.com because we would like to involve as many Poe’s fans as possible.
We want to find people all around the world willing to learn simple choreography and a song in order to create a video and send it to us.
Basically, we want you to dance on the notes of the song “Poe Parade”, to celebrate Poe.
You have to film the Parade with your camera or phone and send us the video here at info@edgarallanpoets.com Your parade video will be part of a global parade and we will make a collage of Youtube videos out of all the videos filmed around the world. You can shoot the video in a park, on the street, in a market, on the beach, or wherever you fill it is right.
Make sure to dress to impress.
