Charlie Smith Creatively known as TOSPACEWEGO is a Nashville based singer, composer, and producer Charlie grew up in Louisville, KY with a singing background performing in classical settings such as his school choir and theatrical productions along with appearances in productions for the Kentucky Opera Association.
He gained a lot of inspiration from his grandpa, a gigging New York jazz pianist in the early 1950s who gave him an improvisational and adventurous spirit in the world of music.
His interest in creating atmospheres and melodies began humbly in his basement with a laptop, a “Thomas The Train” table and his 2006 Yamaha Keyboard.
He has since fused these elements to create projects combining R&B, Blues, Jazz, and Soft Rock music. Stay tuned as Charlie continues to evolve in his sonic expression and embark on a creative journey of his own.
