Marc Soucy, a composer, keyboardist, and producer from Boston, has been crafting music since the early 1980s. With a deep-rooted passion for progressive rock, jazz piano, and classical influences, he co-founded the progressive trio Antartica in 1981 alongside drummer Ray Lavigne and bassist Jeff Carano. Though the group faced challenges, it was a defining chapter in his artistic journey. Marc just released Mayhem In Antartica, a single recorded live in 1983 in a stone cellar in Dracut, Massachusetts. Captured with just three room microphones and no overdubs, the track was meticulously restored and mastered decades later, preserving its raw energy and historical significance.
