Morals Sold is Dirty American’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
“Morals Sold” hits with the immediacy of a clenched fist on steel.

Morals Sold is Dirty American’s Single Out Now

Dirty American waste no time laying down a barrage of raw, overdriven guitar riffs that feel torn straight from a garage packed with buzzing amplifiers and rattling walls.

The energy is infectious and unrelenting, yet it’s not chaos—there’s a controlled intensity in the way the guitars punch through the mix. When the vocals crash in, Ryan Remington’s gritty delivery instantly grabs attention. His tone carries a rasp that recalls the fire of Damiano David, adding a sharp edge to lyrics that confront uncomfortable truths.

There’s a certain defiance running through the track, and it’s rooted in its no-frills production. No computers, no glossy beats—just the crunch of tubes, the snap of strings, and the drive of human hands. This choice gives the song a raw authenticity that’s rare in an age of polished perfection. It channels the unruly spirit of ‘90s grunge and filters it through the urgency of modern alternative rock, forging something that feels both nostalgic and immediate. The result is a sound that refuses to sit quietly; it pushes, grinds, and demands attention.

What stands out most is how personal the track feels. Remington uses this song as an outlet, a release valve for his rage and frustration. There’s no sense of performance for its own sake—only emotion turned into noise. And just when it feels like the song can’t burn any hotter, it shifts into an unexpected finale: a lone guitar playing the U.S. national anthem. The moment lands like a haunting echo of Jimi Hendrix’s iconic rendition, leaving a lingering sense of unease and solitude. It’s a reminder that this isn’t just rock for the sake of rebellion; it’s commentary, too.

“Morals Sold” is the kind of track that strips rock back to its bare bones—angry, honest, and unvarnished.

Morals Sold is Dirty American’s Single Out Now

Dirty American is the newest punk band of NW Florida. The “band” and its songs were created, written, and performed entirely by Ryan Remington. Dirty American’s songs take the political rage of now and mix it with a raw feel reminiscent of the punk scenes from the late ’80s and early ’90s. It’s music built for the pissed-off and anyone who refuses to stay silent.
