Johnny Jones Jr. is a singer, songwriter, and producer driven by a lifelong dream of running his own record label. A Marine Corps veteran with unwavering determination, he has released 11 projects on Bandcamp but struggled with promotion. Undeterred, he founded the FLOW Creative Experience (FLOWCEx) to bring his vision to life.
A self-taught pianist and hip-hop producer since the late ‘80s, Johnny overcame industry skepticism, later teaching piano and music theory. His songwriting journey began with ghostwriting on Whodini’s Bad Case of Love, leading to his first published R&B song, Six Reasons. When the COVID-19 pandemic halted studio sessions, he stepped up as a vocalist, releasing his debut album, Broken Piano.
A devoted father and widower, Johnny channels his life experiences into music, determined to make FLOWCEx a success with the support of his community.
