Circus Mind is a genre-blurring rock band from New York, led by singer, keyboardist, and songwriter Mark Rechler. Known for their infectious blend of rock, New Orleans funk, and late-era Beatles pop, the band’s most recent album Bioluminate garnered praise from outlets like Relix and The Rocktologist.
The current lineup features Rechler on keys and vocals, Brian Duggan on guitar, Michael Amendola on sax, Matt Fox on bass, Steve Finkelstein on percussion, and Dan Roth on drums. Together, Circus Mind moves effortlessly between jazzy jams, reggae grooves, and classic rock riffs—delivering a sound that nods to influences like Traffic, Steely Dan, Little Feat, and NOLA legends Dr. John and The Meters.
