Good Day Noir Family,
Cries of Redemption opens Patterns with “Sanctuary – Ibiza,” and an arpeggiator places you on a futuristic shoreline that feels almost artificial in its sheen.

The groove begins to pulse beneath the surface. At the same time, an ethereal guitar line drifts across the mix, gradually intensifying as tension rises.

The track feels contained inside an electronic bubble, yet it steadily expands.

Then comes “Impulse,” introduced by an ancestral sigh from Chiara, who collaborates here with Ed Silva, the mind and composer behind the project. Her voice carries a mysterious softness at first. However, that sweetness can turn into fierce screamo in seconds. This duality becomes the song’s emotional engine. The chord progression leans toward hard rock and prog influences, while the dystopian atmosphere keeps everything grounded in a darker realm.

“The Return – Raw,” featuring Denisse Ferrara, pushes further into intensity. There are hints of Evanescence blended with Linkin Park, yet the heavier vocal bursts steer the song into nu metal territory. Patterns – The Warning brings Chiara back, and the theatrical tone of the verses reinforces that Evanescence-inspired mood. Fantasy textures blend with nocturnal energy, strengthening the album’s cohesive vision.

Let There Be Light – Part I” begins like the score of a fantasy film. Carefully chosen pads, keys, and electronic effects create an industrial future world. The production reveals detail and patience. “Freudian Slip” introduces a distant, almost radio-like vocal message that feels lost in space. The groove opens wide, encouraging headphone listening to fully appreciate the moving pans and layered textures.

“A Man After God’s Own Heart – Part I” closes the journey with a suspended guitar motif. The notes cut through the air while the composition grows gradually, lifting the listener into vast sonic space. The sharp ending leaves you wanting to revisit the entire record.

Patterns is ambitious, layered, and unapologetically dramatic.
