Pere Canal is a Catalan singer-songwriter whose career began in 1978 with groups such as Quart Creixent and La Coral Còsmica, recording the album Tríptic, noted for its blend of progressive rock and folk.
He later developed a solo career, opening for artists including Lluís Llach, Maria del Mar Bonet, and Joan Isaac, and collaborated with Josep Maria Bardagí. Performing in both Catalan and Spanish, he has also worked in theatre as an actor and musical author.
After a long hiatus, he has returned in search of new creative expression.
