The opening track, Are You Compliant?, throws the listener straight into a post-apocalyptic fever dream.
There’s a pulse here that feels urgent, almost militaristic, with serrated tones slicing through the mix. It’s a sonic atmosphere that wouldn’t feel out of place in a Mad Max chase scene, driven by a relentless rhythm section and acid-tinged guitar lines.
Debunker follows with an immediately intriguing guitar figure that channels the inventive spirit of Tom Morello. The riffing is angular and unpredictable, backed by a driving beat that refuses to let go. What’s fascinating about Remit is the way they merge seemingly disparate influences—the vocals carry the raw snarl of classic British punk, yet the instrumentation hints at the grit of American alt-rock and the expansive energy of Australian underground scenes. My Transformation dips further into gothic waters, echoing the haunting drama of Christian Death while maintaining Remit’s sharp-edged modernity. There’s a hypnotic undertow here, pulling you deeper with every measure.
The closer, Posthuman, is a dark gem—its chord progression feels like the secret password to an underground Berlin club where leather, lace, and industrial beats rule the night. The track leaves you suspended in a haze, questions truly unanswered, as the final notes fade into darkness.
This album is a rare blend—political, cinematic, gritty, and theatrical—crafted by a band with a clear artistic vision and a knack for building worlds within their songs.
