Good Day Noir Family,
Glass Rumours explode out of the gate with Ray Gun, a track that demands your full attention. Right from the first distorted guitar strike, you’re caught in a high-voltage grip.

The riffs roar with raw intensity, and the drums pound like a lumberjack hammering into frozen bark—unyielding and primal. There’s no buildup or slow burn here; the band starts at full throttle.

Straddling a boundary between hard rock and the sharpened edge of metal, Ray Gun doesn’t settle into comfort zones. There are hints of progressive structure in its harmonic shifts—unexpected turns that reward close listeners. The song pulls no punches in its construction; it’s musically dense, rhythmically aggressive, and meticulously crafted.

At the heart of the storm is Gemma’s vocal performance—ferocious, dynamic, and, most of all, focused. This isn’t a song that allows for autopilot delivery. The constant shifts in tone, key, and intensity make it a real gauntlet for any vocalist, but Gemma navigates them with precision and control. She embraces the theatrical moments but keeps them grounded in emotion, never letting style outweigh substance.

One of the most striking moments comes during the bridge, where the track suddenly pulls back. The instrumentation drops into an atmospheric lull—brief, almost haunting—before diving back into the storm.

Paul’s arrangements add another layer of depth. There’s a clear compositional vision behind Ray Gun—a sense that nothing is accidental. Every riff, break, and shift feels intentional, and it gives the song a structural integrity that’s rare in modern rock.

Ray Gun is a it’s smart, well-balanced, and fearless. Glass Rumours prove they’re not just playing rock; they’re shaping it.

Ferocious!

Most people are a little bit terrified of AI and how it may take your job or even destroy the entire world – but there’s an interesting thread to explore when it comes to emotional manipulation. Could it catfish you to do it’s bidding? Could it then take you over so you become the very thing hunting you down? Far fetched science fiction thoughts …or are they? – Glass Rumours

Glass Rumours are the delightfully odd, musically gifted duo from London who make rich, harmony-led pop songs soaked in sincerity and just the right amount of mischief. The band is Gemma and Paul — two humans with wildly different skill sets and a shared love for melody, storytelling, and late-night pancake discussions.

Gemma brings the voice of a celestial entity, posture that inspires chiropractors, and a personality so sweet she could probably settle international disputes with a single polite nod. Equal parts Disney enthusiast and harmony perfectionist, she can sniff out a dodgy vocal line or a hidden burger joint in a foreign village with the same uncanny instinct. Just don’t ask her to arrive on time—or pass a cat without sneezing.

Paul is the idea machine. A musical multi-tool with a flair for creativity, he’s the kind of person who’ll fix your mic stand, draw your portrait, and forget your name all in the same hour. Known for his bucket-of-chicken dreams and a worryingly deep attachment to 1980s fantasy films, Paul brings the heart, soul, and occasional existential crisis to the Glass Rumours universe.

Together, Gemma and Paul are a chaotic harmony of quirks, talent, and genuine musical chemistry — a band where pancakes, fairy lights, snorkels, and soft toys shaped like toast all make perfect sense.
