The opener sets a reflective tone, tinged with unmistakable ‘80s vibes. The subtle chorus-like effect on the vocals adds a dreamy texture, anchoring the listener in a space that feels both intimate and cinematic.
Bring Me the Keys follows with dynamic melodic shifts that flirt with the baroque—flashes of grandeur layered into modern arrangement. While the instrumentation is fresh, the vocal phrasing echoes the exploratory spirit of Led Zeppelin—not in tone, but in attitude and unpredictability.
There Is Cars stands tall as a centrepiece—anthemic, bold, and filled with arrangements that feel suspended between decades. Wellkers seems to write with one foot in the present and the other glancing back, not in imitation, but in tribute to the bones of classic rock.
