The founder of this innovative music formation is Alex Syniakov, who has moved away from the traditional band model by involving musicians and creators who can make whatever they imagine. Such a blend requires highly skilled musicians with their own philosophy and vision.
New Laconia is working on materializing its creative universe, rooted in a broad spectrum of musical inspirations connected to video games, movie soundtracks, progressive rock, and books in the fantasy and science fiction genres.
“I’ve always wanted to combine these elements and mix them into a unique creative ‘blend.’ In this project, we strive to create diverse music that carries notes of nostalgia for childhood, movies, and music from that era while sounding modern at the same time. It’s like progressive rock, but more accessible to listeners – without overloading their neurons,” says the founder of New Laconia.
