Their minimal delivery enhances the song’s cryptic mood, offering a contrast to the steady rhythm section.
As the track develops, a guitar solo briefly emerges. Its repetitive phrasing doesn’t seek virtuosity but instead sustains the spell of the groove. Formed in the Midwest, The House Flies weave gothic atmosphere, post-punk textures, and a brooding melodic sensibility into their sound.
