Kevin Honold crafts Rhythmic Rock — a bold fusion of soul, rock, and cinematic storytelling. His music blends the drive of Springsteen, the vulnerability of Adelle, the textures of Pink Floyd, and the fire of Nathaniel Rateliff. Grit meets grace in immersive arrangements filled with guitar, piano, cello, horns, and layered harmonies.
His debut album The Forge is a statement of resilience, rhythm, and emotional truth. Written and performed by Honold and co-produced with Pat Noon, the album was recorded at Eight Sixteen Recording, mixed by Noon, and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.
Backing musicians include Trevor Michalak (drums), Luke Fox (bass), Steve Shimchick (piano), Jenn Fantaccione (cello, viola, violin), Moe McGowan (vocals), Matt Honold (trumpet), Frank Rein (trumpet, French horn), Dan Melius (trumpet), and Kyle Thompson (trumpet).
