our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Anaté. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Youtube and I liked the atmosphere of her music.
I liked Anaté’s music right away, generally, I look for songs more towards rock but when I find something interesting that comes from other musical genres I like to share it, also because I found mysterious and dark shades in the music of this artist…and Edgar Allan Poets love twilight atmospheres.
The production of Anaté’s songs, entrusted to the producer Delman, is perfect and every sound element is researched and finds the right space both in the mix and in the construction of the song.
Very nice choice of sounds that are never banal and obvious.
To top it all there is the magnificent voice of Anaté, warm, with very sexy colors in her timbre.
A voice that reaches the soul and brings with it secrets that perhaps should not be revealed to anyone.

Anaté is a collaboration between singer & songwriter Anaté and producer Delman. Currently based in Paris and Milan, the duo met in Bruxelles early 2019 and immediately started writing together.
Their musical style is defined by a downtempo influence, yet it covers a variety of genres. Influences recognizable in their music include iconic bands such as Hooverphonic, Massive Attack and Morcheeba on the production side, while vocal melodies and harmonies remind of artists such as Sade, Dido and Amy Lee.
Quote: “This is the second single off my debut album. First Time is a chill but melancholic song. It blends an indie-pop acoustic arrangement with trip-hop electronic elements. It talks about teenage love as memory of a young woman.
Being a new artist, with ‘First Time’ I hope to keep establishing my brand and presence online. The first single ‘Confusion’ enjoyed some early traction in its first month, with 20k streams and 45k views on the official video”.
