our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Coral Caves. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was fascinated by their compositional style.

This band will be able to hypnotize your soul. A sound that has distant roots and finds inspiration from traditional music but at the same time manages to be modern.
I closed my eyes as I was listening to these beautiful melodies and found myself on an unknown planet. A desert of ice under my feet and many planets of various colors in the sky.
This music can make you travel with your mind and makes you explore and get to know hidden and deep areas of your unconscious.
A good discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Refined and Futuristic!
Coral Caves returned with a vital new sound, a unique music blend of a traditional lament (Moiroloi), one of the oldest song forms appearing both in Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, with Shakespeare’s lines from Macbeth; a refashion of Greek & Balkan music traditions in a post-modern context.
Coral Caves in their ‘Moiroloi’ express these same sentiments of traditional lament but in a more nostalgic than mournful fashion, aiming to encapsulate the universal sense of these emotions.
