our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Gulf Stream Riders. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the mood of their music.
The sound of this band is really cool, music that transfers incredible vital energy and that somehow awakens your most rock and wild spirit.
The production of their latest single Sharks, Aliens, Etc. is perfect, honestly, I have not found flaws in this song.
The mix and attention to every detail are meticulous and the chord progression and rhythmic twists manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
A band that knows how to play and that proves to have spent a lot of time refining every detail in order to offer the public a solid, effective, and catchy sound.
A band to be kept under the radar because here we are faced with true professionals.

Gulf Stream Riders, aka Chris Anderson (vocals) and Nalle Ahlstedt, are former members of a hard rock band “Wighthouse Wanderland” that had a record deal (Warner Music) in Scandinavia and toured the clubs in LA as “BURN”.
After a breakup that lasted many years, with Chris studying back home in NY and Nalle writing for artists around the world, they reunited to pursue the long time dream of making the kind of music closest to their hearts; country.
