Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Aaron Spencer. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
From the first seconds, I liked this artist’s way of singing. A typically English irreverent and catchy compositional style that creates nostalgic and fascinating melodies.
Listening to this song I imagined myself driving a convertible along the cliffs of Dover and I felt free with the wind caressing my hair.
The song tells us that there is a fire inside each of us that pushes us to move forward and allows us to do extraordinary things… sometimes we just have to follow our instincts and believe in it.
Life isn’t easy but if we don’t lose hope we can make it wonderful. A song that gives hope and energy to face another day.
A talented artist that I recommend to everyone.
Fire Inside is Aaron Spencer’s Single Out Now!
Nostalgic and Pure!
Aaron Spencer is an artist who is quickly gaining traction having launched himself as a solo musician in 2020. Successful releases ‘Sticky Dancefloor’, ‘Flower’ and ‘Where Are You Now?’ have received wide praise from a number of blogs including CLOUT, RGM and Tongue Tied Magazine as well as getting added to ‘Best New Bands’ Spotify playlist curated by This Feeling.
Influenced by the likes of Pulp and John Cooper Clarke, Spencer holds up a mirror to the grittiness of reality. Taking inspiration from growing up and living in the North-West of England, Spencer’s regional-strong vocal delivers working-class tales of drunken nights out, glad-it-happened heartbreaks and social commentary.
