E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Alex Zethson Ensemble

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Alex Zethson Ensemble. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and was fascinated by his musical vision.

Are you ready for a unique and incredible musical journey?

This music has the ability to work on your senses and is able to stimulate perceptual reactions throughout the body.

As soon as I hit the play button I was literally absorbed by the music of this great artist. An innovative, avant-garde and hypnotic compositional method that in my opinion seems to hide a code capable of making your unconscious evolve.

Alex Zethson Ensemble‘s music seems to come from the future. While listening to this masterpiece I closed my eyes and found myself in a parallel universe.

I started wandering through a pine forest, I felt hunted and so I started running. The music of Alex Zethson Ensemble somehow gave me the instructions on how to get out of that bad situation and in the end I saved myself.

This music at first seems eerie and sometimes sinister but as you begin to understand it a little more you feel the hope and energy that these tracks carry with them.

Absolutely recommended to everyone!

Some Of Them Were Never Unprepared is Alex Zethson Ensemble’s Album Out Now!

Innovative and Refined!

A new work by Swedish pianist/keyboardist and composer Alex Zethson (Angles 9, Yokada, Goran Kajfeš Tropiques, Fire! Orchestra, Sven Wunder) composed for string ensemble, two grand pianos, three guitars and percussion, recorded at the legendary Atlantis Metronome studio in Stockholm. Suggestive, quasi-minimalistic and gamelan- influenced music with echoes of krautrock and the music of Tony Conrad. Released digitally and on LP by Thanatosis, and on CD by Relative Pitch Records.
