Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Alpha Mortal Foxtrot. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their refined style.
I decided to do a review on the music of this band because in my opinion, they offer original and innovative music.
A very intelligent and careful sound research makes this band immediately recognizable from the first listening.
It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
The chord progression and harmonic construction of their songs are never predictable and banal and manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The mix of electronic and classical instruments manages to create a veil of Nostalgia that rests on the songs of this talented band.
The 80s and 90s rock mixed together and there is no shortage of more modern influences.
An excellent discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Raiden Soedjono was drumming for Indonesian legends such as Iwan Fals and Roxx , prior to forming Alpha Mortal Foxtrot with Ricky Putra (Guitar), Wiku Anindito (Vocal and Guitar) and Adrian Hardjapamekas (Bass) in 2019. Alpha Mortal Foxtrot describe their music as alt-rock with sonic soundscapes that you can sing to. They rely on multi-layered echo and overdrive, constant change of tempo and dynamic drum patterns to create a distinct wall of sounds in each song.
