E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Disorder

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sisters Disorder. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their unique way of composing music.

At The Door is Disorder’s Single

A powerful, fascinating, and acid sound is what strikes you as soon as you start listening to the music of this band.

An absolutely innovative modern and powerful rock.

You feel that these guys are inspired by the rock of the nineties, I felt a few grunge nuances and in some passages, they reminded me of the Foo Fighters but starting from these influences they managed to create something new.

I was fascinated by the compositional and creative skills of this band.

It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical understanding.

The production is excellent, left a little rough which in my opinion is a perfect choice for the genre.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Disorder is an alternative rock vehicle from London, UK helmed by multi-instrumentalist and engineer Machi-ei Faron. The project is equal parts musical journey of self discovery and a bold attempt to reevaluate and reimagine what rock n roll is in the XXI century. The heaviness of guitar driven parts lives alongside synthesizers and drum machines creating ambitious and unorthodox soundscapes.

2020 saw a release of 30 songs stretched across 6 EPs which were written, recorded and released every month starting with ‘Ice Age’ in late May and finishing with ‘Beige’ released in December. 2021 began with prolific writing session in collaboration with Jim Collett of London’s Vanity Tapes which spawned At The Door and dozen of other songs.
