our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Becky Crosby. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and her music entertained me and made me forget about everyday problems.
The spontaneity of this artist is what I liked the most.
A sincere and pure compositional style that manages to speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener.
The new Ep Laugh It Off is a coherent musical production. I found no flaws because the songs are all well-produced, and compositionally speaking, impeccable. The production is great and the melody construction of each piece is very well thought out.
I was also fascinated by Becky Crosby’s particular vocal timbre, her voice is direct and sincere and her way of singing makes you believe in the words of the lyrics.
A beautiful discovery that I suggest to everyone.

Becky Crosby is an artist who wears her heart on her sleeve while composing her jazz and funk rock influenced pop music. She is a 21 year old musical artist in the New York City area. Over the years she has been influenced by female-fronted bands and artists like; Paramore, P!nk, Pat Benatar and Julia Michaels. As a lifelong musician, Becky has learned to blend different genres together to curate a unique sound. She is currently studying Jazz Voice at Purchase College, while she continues to work on and release her own original music.
