our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Bethany Ferrie. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked her voice a lot.
As soon as I stumbled upon this artist’s music I was immediately struck by the magnificent voice. A unique and immediately recognizable tone, great vocal control and an enviable harmonic precision.
We are faced with a great singer who manages to interpret the words of the lyrics flawlessly and involves the listener who is literally dragged inside the song.
I really liked the chorus of this song and the chord progression reminded me of the compositional style of Cold Play.
A mature artist ready for the masses in my opinion.
Absolutely recommended, add her to your playlists.

23 year old singer/songwriter from Glasgow, Bethany Ferrie started her music career in 2019. She has since been shortlisted for the BBC Radio Scotland Singer/Songwriter Award 2019 and signed her first music publishing contract with EMI in 2020.
Bethany takes a wide range of influences when it comes to crafting her music: from the likes of Fleetwood Mac to Lewis Capaldi, Kings of Leon to Taylor Swift.
