E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Blake

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Blake. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his compositional style.

The music of this artist immediately put me in a good mood.

A fast-paced rhythm and very catchy melodies that stay in your head for a long time.

The sound is powerful and psychedelic in the typical English style, with that slight irreverence that makes these songs great.

Blake certainly takes inspiration from a way of making music from the past that he has managed to modernize and make current.

In his songs, I felt influences from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

In general, the new album ‘Kaleidoscope’ transfers positive vibes that make you forget the problems of everyday life.

The production is excellent especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element in an enviable balance.

A very eclectic artist that I recommend to everyone.

Kaleidoscope is Blake’s Album Out Now!

Mature and Refined!

Blake is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the UK. He began his musical career singing and playing bass in a Joy Division covers band at school. Discovering he could write his own songs, he adopted the moniker ‘Blake’ after his favourite poet, William Blake. In 2004 his home recorded debut album, Solomon’s Tump, caught the attention of London based indie label Ecto Music, who signed Blake for an E.P release.
