Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Blueprint Tokyo. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the refined style of their music.
I must say that the name chosen by this band reflects their genre. As soon as I hit the play button and started listening to their new Ep “A Whole New Life’ I saw myself driving a powerful car through the streets of Tokyo.
Those luminous signs melted with my thoughts and I wandered aimlessly through that beautiful city one of those days when you want just to be alone.
The overall sound is beautiful and the obsessive attention to every detail makes this sound very refined.
I found no flaws in this EP, all the songs are convincing and the production is very professional.
I feel that these guys have a compositional experience behind them that makes them ready to play on big stages around the world.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone!

Blueprint Tokyo is an indie rock duo from Oklahoma City and Lethbridge, Alberta.
Andy and Kevin have been playing across the states for more than a decade. Being on the brink of full-time musicians, Kevin was diagnosed with a degenerative bone disease forcing him to stop. Without insurance, his diagnosis and treatment eventually came through charities, personal debt, and benefits. Now healthy, the duo has restarted their musical journey. New songs in hand and emerging from the pandemic, their new band Blueprint Tokyo is starting fresh.
