Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Bollo Bollo. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the mood of their music.
A refined and mysterious sound, these are the first adjectives that came to my mind listening to the music of this band.
A modern sound that however reminded me also of the music of the 80s.
The chord progression is very interesting and manages to amaze the listener with the continuous harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic variations.
Beautiful voices, both the timbre of the main one and the harmonies of the second voices that fit perfectly into the general melody of the songs proposed by this band.
The production is very good, the sounds are recorded very well and the mix is very well balanced, the general equilibrium is enviable.
Definitely, a mature band that has clear ideas on how to propose their musical project to the masses.

Bollo Bollo are a 4 piece indie/alternative rock band based in Buckinghamshire. Bollo Bollo may have only been formed as of summer 2019, but the people behind it are definitely not new to the game. Having played together in various projects over the span of many years it’s safe to say they know how to catch a vibe off each other when writing and performing music together.
Taking influence from bands such as Foals, Tame impala and Idles to name a few, Bollo Bollos music is a blend of each members influences driven by textured production, intricate instrumentation, high levels of energy and thought provoking lyricism.
