Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Bones In Butter. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the nostalgic vibes of their music.
This music contains a mysterious vein that immediately struck me.
A sound that looks to the past but somehow manages to be modern too.
Melodies that you seem to have already heard but which in reality are original and innovative.
The sound in general is very interesting and a bit vintage.
Listening to this music, I imagined myself looking out the window of a train at sunset. One of those days when you are returning home after a long period spent away … you feel that serenity of meeting your family again but at the same time inside you, there is a bit of nostalgia for the past memories of an adventure that ends.
I really liked the production and the mix.
Coherent and mature work that I recommend everyone to listen to.
Sad Girl is Bones In Butter’s Single Out Now!
Nostalgic and Vintage!
Bones In Butter is a fairly fresh project initiated by two friends who had previously been playing and recording music together for more than 20 years.
Our style can best be described as the Electric Light Orchestra, Magazine and Frank Tovey walking into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, “What is this, some kind of joke?”
We sing about love and hate, war and peace, good people, bad people, and mostly about what’s beautiful and what’s ugly. And we try to be funny whenever we can.
