E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – C.M. Jenkins

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to C.M. Jenkins. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I love the atmosphere that is able to create.

As soon as I heard the first notes and how his fingers caress the piano keys I realized I was in front of a great pianist.

The fluidity of touch and the dynamic variations that C.M. Jenkins is able to give to his compositions are fantastic.

An artist capable of creating fascinating sound worlds through his music.

Music that conquers you and takes you on a wonderful journey.

The notes hit me like a summer rain, they refreshed me and made me feel free.

I completely abandoned myself to the magic of the music proposed by this talented artist and I let myself be led, as Virgil did with Dante, in a metaphysical journey that enriched my soul.

Take some time to listen to the music of C.M. Jenkins it is worth it.

Piano Etude in Agitato is C.M. Jenkins Single Out Now!

Gifted pianist!

Jenkins (Christopher) is a pianist and music composer from Maryland, and currently lives in Washington, DC.

“Piano Etude in Agitato” is the first single being released in advance of the debut album “First Movements Along A Curve”. The instrumental piano piece was written by C.M. Jenkins in March 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. A sense of constant hurry, along with a lack of silence heard in the music can be alluded to the anxiety felt around the world.

The debut album “First Movements Along A Curve” was recorded and mixed by Jeff Gruber at Blue House Productions in Silver Spring, Maryland. The music was mastered by Jackson Wargo (of the band Snowball II). Christopher Jenkins (C.M. Jenkins) is producing the album.
