Catch The Crazy is Radegunds’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s feature band is Radegunds and their single Catch The Crazy.

Catch The Crazy is Radegunds’s Single Out Now

The sound of this band is powerful and contagious.

The thing that immediately struck me is the voice of the singer. A vocal timbre with shades of Chris Cornell that manages to make the sound of this band stand out from the crowd.

You can feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room, they have in fact an enviable musical alchemy between them.

Catch The Crazy is a beautiful rock song that is inspired by the past but sounds modern at the same time.

The musical understanding between the bass and the drums is impressive, supporting the rhythmic part flawlessly. The guitar riffs are also beautiful, effective, and solid.

Frankly, it’s amazing to think this is the Radegunds’ debut single, these guys already sound like the pros.

I foresee a bright future for them as they produce music of the highest quality.

Solid!

Radegunds were formed by song writing duo, brothers Joe and Will Vallely, originally from the great musical city of Manchester. At the start of the pandemic, while others were stockpiling household essentials, the two brothers stockpiled dozens of riffs and song skeletons. Drafting in friends Tim and Callum on bass and drums, the four shaped these musical ideas together.

Having played a number of local gigs, the band are now eager to get their music out there to a wider audience. Their first single, “Catch The Crazy“ is out now. The band will also play at Cambridge’s Strawberry Fair, one of Europe’s biggest free one-day music festivals, Saturday 3rd June 2023.
