Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Catching Mangoes. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the positive vibes of their music.
As soon as I pressed play I was immediately “infected” with this band’s fresh sound.
It immediately put me in a good mood and it was able to transfer positive vibes.
A style that reminded me of the Beach Boys especially in the second vocals and choruses that are performed to perfection.
The vocals are really great, it’s not easy to harmonize so many voices together but Catching Mangoes do it very well.
Surely to reach a result so well done they spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to refine every little nuance.
I imagined myself on the beach in Venice (Los Angeles) sipping a Milkshake and watching girls with polka dot swimsuits…I literally took a trip back in time while listening to this band’s music.
I don’t know why but I felt catapulted into 1963 🙂
Truly a great discovery that I absolutely recommend.
1963 is Catching Mangoes’s Single Out Now!
Energetically contagious music!
Three-piece, South Coast (of England) threeway, putting the Man back in Mango. After forming in around 2016, they have played relentlessly around the UK and have recently recorded their debut album ‘Kevin’s Town’ in Brighton.
1963 – Single #1 from their highly anticipated Debut Album ‘Kevin’s Town’.
