E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Chay Snowdon

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Chay Snowdon. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their songs.

As soon as I hit the play button I was immediately struck by the singer’s raspy, aggressive voice.

A very addictive rock voice that at times reminded me of Gary Stringer from Reef.

This band is able to create a powerful and very addictive grooving sound.

Beautiful guitars that push incessantly accompanied by an enviable rhythm section where the bass and drums have a great musical understanding.

The chord progression is well studied and the songs flow well so that once the song ends you are forced to press the play button again.

A nice healthy irreverent rock, that certainly does well in the musical period that we are living where everything is entrusted to electronic grooves.

This is real music that awakens in you your rock spirit and makes you feel free.

Are You Sitting Comfortably? (Then We’ll Begin) is Chay Snowdon’s Ep Out Now!

Rock without strings attached!

Chay Snowdon are an Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll four-piece based in Bristol/Plymouth. With Jack Hawkins providing anthemic guitar riffs on lead guitar, George Roach complementing Luke Westwood’s strong and powerful drum sections with his thick and simplistic bass lines.

Which when put together provide a sublime wall of sound for Chay Snowdon to add his chugging rhythm guitar and uniquely powerful vocals. “Once you hear frontman Chay Snowdon’s incredibly unique and powerful voice, you’ll understand why. Their gritty, infectious real-talk rock sits somewhere in between Catfish and The Bottlemen and Kings Of Leon” Total Entertainment
