This duo has a mysterious and intriguing approach.
There is no certain information about their identity, these guys just want to let their music talk, everything else is noise.
A compositional style that is inspired by the past but which at the same time manages to be modern.
Alternative, electronic sounds accompany a Depeche Mode(ish) melody. The singer’s voice is solid and the interpretation is impeccable.
The harmonic and dynamic construction of Control is well thought out and entertains the listener from the first to the last second.
The rhythm of this song is contagious and makes you fly with your imagination. While listening to this tune I saw myself dancing in a bar on the outskirts of Berlin.

They have collaboratively made music with other bands and under different project names but have now focused on releasing music under the moniker Bitter Machine. Their individual lives and personal information doesn’t matter because who Bitter Machine are and whom they choose to be outside the project is inconsequential.
Bitter Machine doesn’t want to meet you. They don’t care if you ever know who they are, only that you help look for the escape key in an age where personal brands, follow requests, and individual content creation is de rigueur. The Oklahoma City alternative rockers mince no words when approaching topics like modern alienation, the addictive properties of social media, or any one of a thousand dystopian stories pulled from the 24-hour news cycle of today. They craft music from broken and bit-smashed samples, dirty tape-warped keys, and power chords not to tear everything down but to pull away the mask covering the monster.
