Crossroad Blues is Touray’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Touray in the past but this talented artist is back with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.

Crossroad Blues is Touray’s Single Out Now

The sound blend created by this artist is truly something unique.

In my opinion, Touray is inventing something new. Although his music can be defined as alternative rock in reality it is so original that it lives in limbo of its own.

Touray’s singing and his way of interpreting the lyrics make him stand out from the crowd.

The harmonic construction and chord progression are also unusual and that’s why I’m always fascinated when I hear his songs.

The guitars are equalized on clear tones and the drums recall industrial sounds. The reverb is generous and creates an ethereal aura around Crossroad Blues.

This artist has a solid artistic vision and boldly follows his creative instincts. I suggest to everyone to follow very carefully his artistic path… this artist is always a nice surprise.

Innovative!

Crossroad Blues is Touray’s Single Out Now

Crossroad Blues is the latest single off my upcoming self-produced EP “Go Catch A Star” which comes out May 26th. This is the opening track and the song is about escapism. Whether this is because of the state of the world with politics or global warming “When the rain breathes in again and the flames feed on the grass”, or whether it’s because of your own mental health “Your tired eyes sink in, to a place that believes in your light”. It is about trying to find a new reality for yourself where you feel more alive, and doing anything it takes, but at what cost? It alludes to the concept of selling your soul to achieve something, which is the story that develops through the EP.
