Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Crush Limbo. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was bewitched by his style.
The sound proposed by this artist is very interesting and already from the first notes, you realize that you are in front of a very eclectic musician.
Crush Limbo’s songs hide something fascinating and mysterious, in some moments his compositional style reminded me of David Bowie.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
I was mesmerized by the sound of this artist, the melodies and musical arrangements spoke directly to my soul making me discover unknown “chambers” of my unconscious.
Deep and original music that I recommend to everyone.
The Woke Patrol is the single of the Album Utility Drawer’s Out Now!
Mysterious and Unique!
Crush Limbo is the stage name of NY-NJ-based musician Colm Clark. Colm has performed in NY-area bands for more than a decade, and has created music for Off-Broadway shows, television and film.
On “The Woke Patrol,” indie rocker Crush Limbo avoids polemic and reaches, instead, for parable. Psychedelic, spy-fi guitars swagger while keys and synth stab and slither over a seductive beat that leads the listener down a slippery slope where everybody lives in glass houses and they’re all holding bricks.
