Good Day Noir Family,
Rubbish Party’s Culinary Vendetta isn’t here to play it safe. The album kicks off with Intro, a spoken-word segment that draws the listener into the world they’ve built—part theatrical, part chaotic, and completely self-aware.

That short prelude sets the stage for Remnants, where the guitars are let loose and the vocalist dives in with a dramatic flair. It’s a high-energy opener packed with attitude and sharp edges.

Then comes Ground Beef, led by a slicing guitar tone that hits like a blade. The band channels a psychedelic yet punk-leaning energy, somewhere in the orbit of The Clash and Joy Division, but with flashes of quirky art-rock that recall Talking Heads.

There’s a distinctly British flavour here—edgy, eccentric, and unpredictable.

Vampire stands out as one of the album’s most original cuts. Its rhythm nods to retro video game aesthetics, with wiry guitars and a hypnotic pulse that loops you into its strange but satisfying groove. It’s not just nostalgia; it’s creatively reframed chaos.

I’m Really Sorry tones things down slightly, offering a ballad that still maintains the band’s psychedelic leanings. The melody is more pronounced here, allowing space for vulnerability without sacrificing their signature grit.

Production-wise, Culinary Vendetta keeps things intentionally raw. It’s not messy, but it’s unpolished—in the best way. That looseness enhances the band’s personality and brings out the true energy of their performances.

One of the most intriguing tracks is No Clue, with a twilight aura that leans more into mainstream territory. It has the kind of chorus that could easily climb alternative charts, without losing the edge that makes Rubbish Party unique.

It’s proof that they know how to write hooks without compromising their identity.

Rubbish Party are loud, unpredictable, and full of character. Culinary Vendetta is a wild ride—equal parts chaos and control—and it leaves a mark.
