Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Dark Days. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.
A nice fresh and powerful sound, these are the first adjectives that came to my mind while listening to the music of this band.
A way of composing music that reminded me of American bands like Weezer, Blink 182, Sum 41 etc
Certainly, very catchy music which, however, does not disdain to deal with rhythmic and harmonic variations that make it unique.
Very beautiful the sounds of the distorted guitars that fill the sound spectrum well and fascinating the understanding of the rhythm section where the bass follows the kick like a shadow in all its “rhythmic drawings”.
The voice does its duty with a perfect timbre for this genre of music.
This music can surely find many fans around the world.

Bedroom pop punk outfit Dark Days captivate the melodic charm of pop punk with the angst and passion of the modern emo movement. songs about falling in love and heartbreak, video game references and having fun have helped build their image of nostalgia and edginess.
After first appearing on the bill of various gigs around the midlands in 2018, their latest single ‘Thick Skin‘ was released on October 21st 2020 after spending unhealthy amounts of time hiding in their bedrooms and writing songs about girls who wronged them (or that they were just too insecure to talk to).
