The music of this artist is definitely experimental and I would say also avant-garde.
Personally, I was immediately fascinated and mesmerized by the harmonic and rhythmic variety of this music.
A courageous artist who experiments in a brilliant way.
The chord progression is very varied but manages to maintain a common thread and to give complete meaning to David Christy Jones’ compositions.
A sound that mixes Funky, Prog Rock and many other musical genres in a unique and original recipe.
Lively, innovative songs that manage to keep you on tip of your chair from the first to the last second.
A fantastic discovery that I recommend everyone to listen to with an open mind.

David Christy Jones is a songwriter and musician based in West Cork, Ireland. Born in Wales to a musical family, he found himself surrounded my musicians playing many styles from a young age.
More recently he has focused largely on writing and recording his own music and compositions. Inspired by the blues and folk stars of old, he has taken their recipes and added his own distinct flavor. From the modern Americana and roots sound, to the dust-bowl blues, his style is unique and fresh.
Since 2009, Christy has been an active and respected session drummer, bassist and guitarist and has played with countless acts across all genres. From jazz, blues and folk to heavy metal, rap and country.
