Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Distance is Gavan Waldby's Single Out Now
Distance is Gavan Waldby’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Gavan Waldby in the past but this talented artist is back with a new cool single and this is what I think about it.

Distance is Gavan Waldby’s Single Out Now

First of all I have to say that the collaboration with his sister Catherine, who helped him to write the lyrics and sang the backing vocals, is successful.

Obviously, the chemistry between brother and sister is something ancestral and somehow oozes from these notes.

Distance is a nostalgic and intense song that everyone can relate to.

When love ends it’s never easy to start over. First, we are so close, and then in a moment, we are two strangers.

Gavan Waldby manages with his music to move strong emotions. He makes you think and that’s why I recommend everyone to go and listen to his music.

The crepuscular melody spoke directly to my soul and heart.

Fantastic!

Distance is Gavan Waldby’s Single Out Now!

Intense!

“Distance” takes listeners on an introspective journey, inviting them to contemplate the complexities of a loved one who has shut you out. With haunting melodies and poignant lyrics, co-written with his sister Catherine Waldby, the song skilfully captures the raw emotion and struggle that arise when someone we cherish won’t return our love, cuts us dead, or simply drifts away.

With soulful vocals from Waldby, and Catherine singing backup, this song is heartfelt storytelling and features some outstanding guitar and drum production. Waldby delivers a powerful and relatable message that resonates with listeners from all walks of life. The profound sense of longing and vulnerability expressed in “Distance” strikes a chord with those who have experienced the pain of feeling emotionally disconnected from those they hold dear.
