Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Dom Malin. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.
The passion with which this artist interprets his songs struck me immediately.
Dom Malin’s voice manages to speak directly to the heart and soul.
His new single Yesterday’s Love has a delicate and nostalgic melody capable of hypnotizing the listener.
A fragile balance… as you listen to this song you feel like you are on the edge of a ravine. Although you feel dizzy you still feel safe and without asking yourself too many questions you let yourself be guided into the wonderful sound universe created by this talented artist.
Every little nuance is kept under control to maintain this perfect balance.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and you remain glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone.
Yesterday’s Love is Dom Malin’s Single Out Now!
Fragile and Unique!
Dom Malin is a Midlands-based artist who has been nurturing his musical talents since acquiring his first electric guitar. After realising his capacity to stir emotion with his expressive songwriting style, Malin continued to hone in on his talents by gaining a university degree in Music and teaching in a creative music college.
Malin has proven himself an undeniable talent with releases such as ‘Eye of the Storm’, which found Malin’s sound at its most nuanced to his most recent work—a poignant EP titled ‘Something Never Said Pt.1’. This has not gone unnoticed and BBC Introducing Lincolnshire, have featured his music as the song of the week on several occasions.
His July 2021 release of Yesterday’s Love is set to develop the sonic palette of Malin’s sound and introduce a more complex harmonic favour with rhythmical pushes and subtle synths.
