E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Earth To Eve

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Earth To Eve. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the irreverence of her music.

The music of this artist immediately struck me for the energy and especially for the quality of production.

These songs are rich in arrangements with a wind section that moves relentlessly accompanying the sinuous melodic lines of the voice.

The thing that has most amused me is the irreverence of this artist that is able to combine classic arrangements with modern and provocative lyrics.

It is as if Frank Sinatra while singing “I did it my way” had spit on the stage and said… “and if anyone has anything to say they can kiss my a$$”.

I really like when artists play and provoke because it is from these experiments and intuitions that something new and different can be born.

I also really liked how this artist decided to propose herself to the masses with photos, graphics and videos.

In my opinion, she has very clear ideas on how to promote her music and I think she is doing it in a very smart way.

Nowadays it’s not enough to have a good song to stand out but you have to create a character around your music.

Earth to Eve has understood this and is doing it very well.

Shit is Earth To Eve’s Single Out Now!

Fresh, modern and irreverent music!

‘SHIT’ is a reclamation of the phrase, ‘I’m a piece of shit.’ When I’m in a depressive episode, this phrase rings loud in my ears. This song is my way of coming to terms with my shortcomings and embracing my flaws. Empowerment isn’t always fluffy; it comes from understanding and accepting ones inadequacies and limitations. ’SHIT’ is more than just a string of expletives, it’s a proclamation of self love. I’m a piece of sh*t, and I’m loving it!
