our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Edge Of Desire. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their futuristic compositional style.
We are faced with a duo who like to experiment.
These guys propose something new and brave. A modern sound rich in nuances that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and is enriched by refined and very wisely thought-out sounds.
The musical arrangements are refined and demonstrate Edge Of Desire’s compositional talent.
The production is excellent, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element, and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Edge Of Desire was conceptualized in 2018 by Dan Fraser (Vocals, Songwriter) before bringing childhood friend Caleb Hartley (Bass, Backing Vocals) into the mix to create what has become a dynamic musical cocktail built on a foundation of alternative rock, a dash of new-age emo and a sprinkling of electronic influence.
